Gammagirls is a 10 week program designed to engage teenagers in conversation with adult mentors about the real life issues that they face each day. It is an interactive, short-term mentoring program designed primarily for girls between the ages of 12 and 16. Through group work and mentoring, Gammagirls seeks to help young women understand who God created them to be and to remain strong and focused in the midst of peer pressure. The Gammagirls curriculum provides tools and information to better equip teens for the challenging issues they must navigate on their way to adulthood.

Three Gammagirl graduates were interviewed. This was the profound finding of the interviewer. "The word that keeps coming to mind is "empathy." Somehow the program is incredibly successful in teaching girls to step outside of themselves and to consider the needs of others. Considering how popular the issue of bullying is these days, this [is] fascinating."
