The Calgary Pregnancy Care Centre is a non-profit agency. Our mission is to enable positive outcomes for those facing pregnancy-related challenges by educating youth, connecting individuals, and supporting families.
We honour and respect everyone who comes through our door or connects through phone calls, text or email. Each person comes in with a background and situation that is unique and deserving of space and respect. Everyone is treated with the utmost care and given help in the form of practical or emotional support, material necessities, and or educational workshops for their area of need.
We recognize and respect personal agency—the capacity of individuals to act independently and to make their own free choices. We provide a safe place for women who are assessing their situation before they make a pregnancy decision. This is a very personal decision and one that is hers alone to make.
We provide referrals as required to agencies such as the food bank, doula and midwife support. Neither of the abortion clinics requires a referral. Nor do we.
We are not a medical facility. We do not perform or refer for abortion.
