Prenatal:

This five-week class covers nutrition, exercise, stages of pregnancy, labor and delivery, breast and bottle feeding, and newborn care.
Week 1:

Baby’s First Year: 
Designed to boost your confidence as a parent, this class will give you the opportunity to discuss questions and concerns while you receive practical advice and encouragement.

Mother Goose Literacy and Parenting Skills
Enjoy rhyme and story time with your young child, as well as discuss the highs and lows of parenthood. This class runs for eight weeks.
Parent Education Program
Learn about the important emotional, mental and relational needs your child has, as well as develop the knowledge and skills to best meet them in day-to-day parenting. This class is geared towards parents of children ages two to twelve and runs for six weeks.
Goals of the Parent Education Program: 
  • Help build a strong parent-child relationship
  • Instill important qualities in your child, including

    • responsibility
    • cooperation
  • Learn effective communication skills
  • Understand your child’s behaviours
The Fatherhood Program
The goal of this course is to provide you with practical parenting tools as you strive to be the best you can be. This program will provide you with a better understanding of your unique role as a dad, child development and care, communication and childhood emotions, childhood physical health, and boundaries for health.

  • Fostering cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth of children

Financial Literacy 
Developed by Momentum, our financial literacy program is a 5-week course on money management. In this course you will gain the skills to make the most of your financial resources. The Five Modules are:
1. Assets
2. Budgeting
3 Banking
4. Credit
5. Consumerism
